GRIFFITH SALEYARD REPORT SHEEP MARKET REPORT 31st October 2025. Numbers were similar for a total of 13,000 comprising 3,750 new season lambs 5,650 lambs and 3,900 sheep. Lamb numbers increased slightly; quality was good with more shorn lambs yarded, there was a good run of shorn new season heavy and trade lambs plus trade and heavy dorper lambs penned with extra heavy lambs limited, there was limited merino and store lambs throughout the yarding. Most of the regular buying group were present, prices for lambs were dearer across all categories. Mutton numbers also remained similar, quality was good with some good lines of heavy and medium weights penned, prices also sold to a dearer trend.
